1. Basic photography (2 weeks)
Eligibility: Minimum 10th class pass
Curriculum: Concept of photography, cameras, lenses, photographic accessories- advantages, limitations and applications. Basic controls of photography- aperture, shutter speed and exposure. Understanding light and its sources, lighting contrast, effective use of various kinds of daylight, portable flash light & studio flash light in photography. Camera handling and elements of framing and composition in photography. Travel and location photography.
2. Advanced photography (4 weeks)
Eligibility: 10+2 with basic subject knowledge and exposure
Curriculum: Advanced lighting techniques in daylight photography. Camera handling and elements of framing and composition in photography. Portraiture / portfolios, fashion and modeling- concept of posing, lighting skills and techniques. Tips and techniques of still life photography, landscape photography, macro photography and wedding photography. Digital image editing and manipulations in photography.
3. Professional photography (8 weeks)
Eligibility: Undergraduates and Graduates
[Preference: Fine arts, Mass media (B.G & P.G) students]
Curriculum: Concept of photography- cameras lenses, photographic accessories- advantages, limitations and applications. Basic controls of photography- aperture, shutter and exposure. Understanding light and its sources, lighting contrast, effective use of various kinds of daylight, portable flash light and studio flash light in photography. Camera handling and elements of composition in photography. Basic studio, travel and location photography. Advanced lighting techniques in daylight and studio photography. Portraiture, fashion and modeling- concept of posing, lighting skills and techniques. Tips and techniques of still life photography, landscape photography, macro photography, nature & wildlife, scientific photography, photojournalism and wedding photography. Digital image editing and manipulations in photography.
